American Legion Trail Crossing

Zionsville, Indiana

While with another company, Ronda helped develop the final design and construction documents for the American Legion Trail Crossing. The design includes a contemplation path constructed from salvaged Main Street bricks, Indiana limestone benches and monuments, masonry limestone arch, flagpole and connection to the local trail system.

Potawatomi Park

Rensselaer, Indiana.

Fischer Design developed this new design for the second phase development of Potawatomi Park for the Rensselaer Urban Forestry Council. The plan maximizes walking distances with new sidewalk layout, provides seating areas, utilizes existing pavement for parking, adds a variety of new trees and provides a link to Iroquois Park across the street. Enhanced planting and signage are proposed at the new entrance off College Avenue.

Carson Park

Indianapolis, IN.

Fischer Design teamed with Whitaker Engineering to develop the site improvements at Carson Park in Indianapolis, Indiana. Improvements included the addition of a splash park, new playground, picnic shelter and restroom building.

Talon Stream

Plainfield, IN.

Fischer Design played a key role in developing the Talon Stream Park master plan. Because the park is located on an old landfill site, it was extremely important to coordinate the landfill remediation plans with the anticipated uses.
