A Team Approach – Fischer Design teamed with Green Water Infrastructure to redesign a courtyard for the 63rd Street Growth Commission’s headquarters in Chicago, Illinois. Located in one of the most impoverished neighborhoods in Chicago, the non-profit economic development organization desired to incorporate sustainable practices to help address their stormwater issues. The design includes a small rain garden, permeable paver patio, decorative aggregate channels, interpretive signage and a public art display area.
